The graceful buildings facing the sea in Kuwait City reflect the commitment to community in the country’s past and future. From medical buildings to cultural facilities, the buildings that make up the Americani Cultural Centre have served the people of Kuwait since the late 1930s. The concept behind the lighting solution of this project is to emphasize the building with lighting design that would highlight the main features of the structure and bringing out more of its beauty at night. The challenge part was conceptualizing & integrating the design itself without harming the old structure of the building. The goal is to showcase the simplicity and elegance of the architecture of the building by making use of light and shadows that will highlight certain areas of the structure while giving depth to the overall design.
